big time sonic fan most of my grapic work is sonic fan characters and junk I like most of the sonic games from the dream cast era more so then the newer ones dont get me wrong they are great but they just dont hit me the same way the older ones did

You just got me started. >w<
Sonic is my all time love, close second to Pokemon. Very close.
I've loved all the Sonic games I've ever played. There are three or four that I haven't played, but, I got the gist of how it would've been from reviews.
My favourite was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I loved the story, adored the voice overs, allies, and new enemies, and fangirled at the first sight of the Chao side play.
Least favourite: Shadow the Hedgehog.
Don't take this the wrong way, it was a pretty good game.
It's just, it had it's difficulties. A lot of them. The story was rather short, complicated, and disappointing, and the graphics S. U. C. K'd. ~{}~

In actuality, slum is entirely right They are cranking out anything and everything that they can to get as much money as possible, its actualy kinda sad =/ Though it is hard to revolutionize on such a simple concept, speed. I do agree the turn with sonic riders, its banks on old school sonic game play ~ speed, power ups, and the point A to point B as quick as you can method

Sonic is being turned into way too many things, and, I'm pretty sure they didn't get his legal consent before warping him into a Werehog.
The Sonic Riders saga was a very good turn, I must say. Though, the story behind the first one was awful confusing, and, the story behind the second was flat out easy. I liked it, though.
And, Corrupted, I second your, "2D Sonic is the shiz!" motion. It really was, and, still is.
Sonic Unleashed was a terrible game, in my opinion. Though, the graphics were awesome, it was completely retarded, story and gameplay-wise. ~{}~
