I was looking at a lot of cellphone charms and I fell in love with a large selection of them(namely the ones with plants inside).

This one I'm a little leery on because it uses a fertilzer, and the no germs thing? What about when the plant gets too big or the fertilizer runs out? =0 It'll be bombarded with germs when transplanted!

This one I is a sort of algae. Lol. They say you need to change the water at least once a week. I'm leery about how it's held in place tho. Just a little twine? It could easily come undone and slip off. =[

This one is my favorite! It's basically a seed starter! =3

Now for my question. Would YOU use one? Would you buy it or make one? Keep for yourself or give away as a gift? This is a nifty way to introduce those tech-savvy cell-phone absorbed teenagers to gardening and being eco-freindly.
I'm only 16 BUT personally, if I was an adult, I'd tell my kid(if i were to have one) when they're going through that begging for a cell-phone stage.
Sure you can have one! But you have to take care of this plant! If it dies you will be grounded from your phone! xd

I think the pink and blue ones are cute too, but that pink/blue gel is a fertilizer... that's why i'm reluctant to get that one.

I'd prefer the algae/moss one or the seed starter one because you can use it over and over. the others I'm not so sure about. =(

It's basically a SUPER STICKY plastic sticker with the thing for the loop. LOL.

It might not match your phone but hey, you can always paint it! It's roundish, so you could always paint the earth on it or something. 3nodding
(tho i dunno if that'd match either sweatdrop ) But if you DO paint it, you want to sand it with a fine grit sandpaper(like 1,00 grit or 1,500 grit) that way the paint will stick to it. paint dosen't usually like sticking to plastic. crying

Might be a good idea to get a plastic case for your phone and put the button on the case, that way if you don't have room in your pockets for it you can just take it off. LOL.
