This is a half rant, half discussion topic.

I know a lot of people want to 'test before they buy' as in, date someone and sleep with them before they marry - and to be honest, if someone else needs to do that before they marry, thats fine. But dont date like 12 or more people at once, make connections with them all and start to eliminate them.

I had never really saw a dating show, but tonight i watched 'More to Love' And it was down to 6, so he had made significant connections with all of them, and of course the one voted off cried. It broke my heart, and i dont know why anyone would willingly go on a show, date another man with multiple women (be kisses, hugged, etc) then get voted off. Thats terrible to me =(

What do you think of those style dating shows?

Well those girls are desprate and stupid, imo.
Besides, most of them go on those shows just to be on t.v. Or get money.
Seriously, half of them would probably choose money over the guy anyday.


I wouldn't go on the show for dating, though.
Dating is pointless, because usually the guy is only in it for the sex.

I wouldn't even consider it. Ever. Tuning down a relationship to try to go steady with another person would be acceptable to me, but two-timing is a big no-no.

On this one, its a guy picking a plus sized lady to marry.
Of course him, Muffin Man, is not so skinny himself. He was licking his chops like a hungry wolf when they were rubbing lotion on him.

Thats true, and even though theyre on television - they all look ridiculous at some points >_<

I hate those shows. IMO, it makes women look like cheap, mindless commodities - "Oh look at this group of gorgeous women all bending over backwards to win the heart of this ONE single man!!!" And all of the women look exactly alike save for the occasional brunette stare .

I really think I would lose a bit of respect for a person if I knew them well and they went on one of those shows.

I know. That's why I spend all TV watching time on anime and a few select shows...but no "reality" or drama shows.
