Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
But I also really liked the Adventure games and Sonic World Adventure/Unleashed.

I must say that my favourite is Sonic 3... Hehe, it was made in the same year I was born, but that's not why it's my favourite. It was really fun when you had someone controling Sonic and another controling Tails, but then again, all you had to do to beat the bosses was to beat them with Tails because he's invunarable. I liked sonic Advance 3 for the same reason, but this time you could just play both single handed... And if you did play it with another person, no one was invincible, lol

For me its Sonic and Knuckles, Dark Brotherhood, and Adventure 2. The more recent osnic games have all been but terrible. Werehog with stretchy popeye arms? Sonic as a knight DX. The insanity of it all! Hopefully project needlemouth will come through.

Since I have a tiny allowance and can't buy many games, so far it's Sonic unleashed. But I'm dying to play the sonic riders games...
