How do people hate it?
and not just because its so "wordy" that us what makes it so wonderful. The story is great, (unlike Great Expectations...that was...painful to read..seriously pip just get over the girl and yourself...)
and that scene where the the french and english ladies are arguing (I suck at remembering names, excuse me) about where lucie is. And neither of them really know what the other one is saying because there is no common language...how do you not enjoy that?
I personally love it. I hated it when I was forced to read it the first time, but by the end I really enjoyed it. Than I had to read it for another class and I loved it all the way through...except in the middle it dragged for a couple chapters...but besides that it was great.
What are your thoughts on ToTC?

I read it sophomore year for English and I really enjoyed it. I need to reread it one of these days, after I read Les Mis biggrin
