*Hopian eyes the ruby*
Good quality, that....near perfect color, though there's quite a few flaws in the stone itself...I'd give it a grade of B...too many flaws, and it's a bit rough for cutting...

"Quite..." says Tam nodding. "Better yet that it is flawed. T'would make more sense for someone to pawn it off on me thinking to impress me when in truth they are handing me something far less valuable than it first appears. We sould get plenty of coin to spend on your wardrobe though, but..." he looks at Bell again and shakes his head. "Ye can't go like that. What happened to your original outfit? It was a bit classy but it would fit in far better than that armor."

The town of Sweetwater is actually build on three levels ringing a small hill. At the top of the hill is the mayor's home and several large villas. In the center level sits the main business distric,t several taverns, plus the homes of most of the craftmen. And on the lower level, where Tam now leads Bell and Hope sits the market square, the workshops of the aforementioned crafts men and the poorer end of town. This area, unlike the two above it, doesn't seem to have any distinct pattern to it's layout. Trisected by three main roads leading upwards into the town proper, it rambles like a mad man's maze between.
Tam navigates the maze with an ease that leaves Bell dumbfounded, because she is thoroughly lost after the first couple of intersections. Finally he leads the pair to a door, halfway down what first appears to be an alley. There he exchanges the gem for a small sack filled with copper and silver coins, plus a few iron bits.
