Wow, i never try to keep up with 'celebrity gossip' Especially about those who have passed, like MJ, hopefully he is at peace and rest right now. But I am seriosuly wondering, did he actually revert? I heard he did, and he did that Nasheed 'Give thanks to Allah' Also, when his brother, cant remember his name, was speaking of him, im pretty sure he mentioned Allah (swt) in his....comment for the press. But MJ's kids, cute as buttons!, are now Jehovah's Witnesses like the rest of the family. Do you think his religion while in life was Islam?

Jermaine Jackson (His brother) has become Muslim for over ten years, I believe.
But then Michael Jackson is believe to revert to Islam last year. I think it was around November. But of course the media won't reveal about this, or they will give a huge shock to the Christians and other beliefs that MJ reverts to Islam.
I choose to believe he reverted to Islam. (I know I don't have evidence) Even if people will said I'm stupid, I don't care.
Edit: Oh I think Give Thanks To Allah is not MJ's song. It may sound like him, but it is not. People said it is sang by someone else.

he is not the one who sing the "thanks to allah"
but he revived it ..
he actually belive in islam but due to the fans thing he return into Christianity

Well, Give Thanks to Allah is not sung by MJ, it is sung by someone in Peace TV which is a channel in most countries, mainly the eastern ones. MJ was studying Islam and was DEEPLY interested in it, and was about to convert to Islam, but he still remained a Christian. However, many sources are saying HE DID convert, and changed his name to Mikael. No he did not convert, I thought he did at first, but then my mom and I did some research and found out it wasn't true, but he did show great interest in it.

I think he did revert to Islam however he just didnt have enough time to really get into the deen. I didnt like the way they had his funeral, in Islam, the body is supposed to be buried within three days and the funeral is not fancy. His family kept his body out for a long time and they throw a very fancy funeral.

Well....a lot of celebrities dabble in religions, but dont go very far into them. Remember when Madonna claimed to be a student of Kabalah? Either way, he was a very disturbed individual who I have little doubt was a major ***** (and yes, this isn't just accusation. there is strong evidence) and his spirit was obviously in need of a lot of introspection. I sure there are cooler celeb converts though, like Yusuf Islam, Muhammad Ali, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. one thing i dont get.....if you do change your name when you convert, and pick it yourself, and are a huge celebrity, why pick what has to be one of the most common names ever? There's gotta be what? 4 or 5 million Muhammad Alis in the world?

Think positive,that what Allah like.If it's true that MJ has revert to Islam,Allhamdulillah.But i'ts ok if he didn't,but it's enough if he know Islam before he death because maybe he already aim to become a muslim.Just Allah know what the truth. sweatdrop It just my opinion.. lol
