Awful Scamming Attempts?

So a couple of minutes ago I got this gem of an PM:

Sure, I'll trade my Kiki for an item with an ABP at 5,051g just because it has been temporarily inflated to a LBP at 5,450,000g rolleyes
I just explained to the gentleman that I was not a drooling idiot.
Have anyone tried to scam you in such an obvious way?

The reason that my avatar is so under dressed is because I got sick of people doing exactly that to me. It's even worse when you tell them no, give them a reason, & they continue to message you with "Why?" or insist that the marketplace lies & it's really a good trade.
I probably have the biggest ignore list on Gaia for this reason.

Idiots like that made me giggle until I turned off my 'receive pms from everybody' button. Anybody who needs to email me for something like a roleplay knows to do it through my mule.


I had an amazing comment on my profile when I was selling my 1st gen The Nightmare. It is still my favorite study in the stupidity of people on the internet:

While it may not have been as vast of a difference as those above, this one guy said he'd trade a grunny for an orca tail that was worth I think about 15 K at the time. Oh yeah it was a grunny alright. A grunny TILE. And he thought I wouldn't notice. xd
