I want to be clear, because I feel like I didn't quite get it sweatdrop

I can NOT say "Hey! you're cool let's be friends on PSN" and give him my PSName.

or
I can NOT say "hey I'll share with you" and give him my account info

Because I understand not doing the latter but really don't see the harm in the first action.
