I am just curious on everyone else's opinions on their newest video, for the song "I Like it", off of "Shallow Life". I thought it was awesome. It's very rare that you see a gothic band do a comical video, and they pulled it off by kindly butchering many stereotypes.
Now, I'm not really against anyone. I love hippies, I know quite a few, and they are amazingly nice people. I have had some very deep conversations with a man picketing outside a carnival that was visiting the city. Also, as a graffiti artist I have hung around with alot of gangsters, and I have grown to love hip-hop and rap (Some rap. Not most mainstream stuff though). I personally love death metal, just as much as I love every other sort of music. While I enjoy sitting, thinking about the essence of life itself and listening to Enya, I also enjoy going to concerts, rocking out and jumping into a mosh pit or two. And, geeks are FTW. 'nuff said there, really.
So, while it made fun of alot of differet people and styles of music, it was in a comical manner and I found it very funny, even though I have been a part of each one of those in one point or another (But not as much as this dear one). Also, I've heard alot of people complaining about the music. Sure, it sounds a bit more pop then their traditional gothic sound, and now they have a funny, relaxed video, but we all have the right to be different from how we usually are every now and then.
So, opinions on the song and video?

Infection XIII Jonathonn Lucuna Coil...gothic band... neutral Okay, since the almighty Infection thinks of it otherwise, what exactly IS Lacuna Coil to be considered? I've always found them to be gothic, or a large gothic influence atleast.
