If you're looking for a nice, happy song...

I like "The Bells" by Venus Hum.

Other ones that could be cool (meaning I like them. -_-):

"Under Pressure" by Queen.

"Horn Concerto no. 1 in D Major" by Mozart.

Or something from "Pirates of Penzance."

Well, I can give you a list of songs my guard has done, and I can give you a list that was sent to me by a friend. So here's my Guard's routine list:

Living in a Bubble-Eiffel65
You Spin Me Round-Marilyn Manson
Green Onions (jazz routine)
Techno Phantom of the Opera
Just Like You-Three Days Grace
(Next year we're doing a routine I wrote to Helena-My Chemical Romance)

well, i have a few good ideas, that i really really want to do.

"missed me" - dresden dolls.
"coin operated boy" - dresden dolls.
"swallow" - emilie autumn.
"rose red" - emilie autumn.
"love me or hate me" - lady sovereign.
"tango" - lady sovereign.
"to the moon & back" - savage garden.
"crash & burn" - savage garden.
"mendicant priest" - uttara kuru. (14 min long song of a buddisht monk chanting over a synth. the most fantastic thing ever.)
"dance, dance" - fall out boy. (my guard instructor has this amazing version done by a string quartet. it is sex in music. ok not really.)

i'm done now, though.

You should've seen our winterguard last year (I wasn't on it...). It was so awesome!!!!!!! They did a Pirates of the Carribbean medley. With swords (plastic), rifles, and silks. There was combat and everything! Absolutely amazing! They should seriously put it on youtube. And yes, I already posted about this in the main guard sticky or whatever.

We did the song from POTC2 where they're fighting in the wheel.

You could also do Die Another Day by Madonna or something from Phantom of the Opera.

We're doing the music from this show that used to be at Disneyland called Lights Camera Chaos. It's really fun and fast, but it sounds very disney-ish.
