Ever had those moments where on the radio, they say they're going to play a band that you despise, and the song turns out to be kinda good? That happens to me a lot hah... one of those certain songs for me is The Wind Blows by the All American Rejects. idk why i like the song its just cool hah.... so what's yours?

It's not that I think Velvet Underground sucks, just that a lot of their stuff I really have to be in the mood for. However, I always like "Venus in Furs" and "Heroin."
EDIT: Same feeling towards Specimen. Always in the mood for "Beauty of Poison," though.

Britney Spears. Recent album. I was sitting in the car listening to the radio and heard the song. Started bopping along, and it ended. Waited for the radio person to tell me who sang it,and promptly gagged. Same thing two weeks later at Prom with a different song of hers. My poor date actually thought I was going to vomit. Good thing he had the same reaction I did though. He was sorta enjoying it until our friend told us who it was.....

I don't. I honestly think they're one of the crappiest most pretentious bands out there, yet for some reason I like that song. It also helps that the whole video is basically a remake of Van Halen's "Hot For teacher".

I listen to everything (Goth,metal,punk,emo,poppunk,dancepunk,hardcore, hiphop, and tons more) but one thing I hate is about 99.9% of pop music. I just find it generally annoying. Especially the really big songs, as I find them the most annoying. Somehow, I like "Pokerface" by Lady Gaga. Which is just creepy.

I hate the Song Umbrella by Rhianna, but I loved Disturbia. I personally don't care for pop.
