for some reason, i cant use the L button in OoT, but it works in every other game


Weird. I've never had that problem before. What kind of controller? Nintendo or third-party? Wireless or corded?

its a corded gamestop controller.

Hmm... Do you have any Nintendo-produced controllers lying around or you can borrow from someone? Sometimes, some games get finicky about the type of controller used. Is it not targeting at all?
