Well yeah, they sorta were, I mean the last time I cuddled with mine I was like 2 or 3 but I still have it, could you imagine how much money some of our 80's toys are worth eek

Probably not very much right now, but maybe in 50 years they will be worth something. In any case, they are worth alot to me for purely sentimental reasons.
Speaking of toys, does anyone remember those pregnant dog stuff animals that you could buy and when you opened up its tummy, there were either 3, 4, or 5 puppies inside? Mine had 3 puppies. lol

Yeah I remember, I didn't have a puppy one I had the kitty my niece had the puppy and had I think 2 in it, lol! and my kitty had 4 lil kitties heart

It's kind of strange if you think about it. Kids playing with pet pregnancy. sweatdrop But I still have my pregnant dog stuffed animal. lol
What happened to the good stuff on the Disney channel, like Tailspin, Goof Troop, Ducktales, and Darkwing Duck? *sings the Darkwing Duck song... "Let's get dangerous..."* xd

I used to also be addicted to Anamaniacs and Freakazoid. Those shows were amazing! whee (I still do the good idea/bad idea thing at random intervals. I also frequently ask using Pinky's voice, "What do you want to do tonight Brain?" when really asking about plans, and invariably someone replies, "The same thing we do every night Pinky; try to take over the world.")

Oh I loved those shows! I liked Gummi Bears too 3nodding I found someone on youtube that has quite a few of the full episodes uploaded xd I got my kids into watching it hehe
Oh I remember those pets too, they were puppy and kitty surprise!

No right about now those kids wouldn't make you feel ancient but when they get older then they will be like "gang! Mom you remember that old show Thunder Cats?" and "wow! Aunt Fer-Fer you really wore your hair in a side pony tail they did that waaay back in the 80's!" or "Dad I can't believe you had a portable c.d. player!" eek "gosh! you guys are like older than dirt" I love your kids but they will get extra tickle time for that lol!

When I was driving to graduation today, I had a friend in the car with me, and we decided to put in the first Backstreet Boys CD for kicks. We started singly flawlessly to all of the songs, and happened to remark that this will actually be cool in 10 years, because it will be retro by then. cool

It will happen. In the 90's, I recall thinking that everyone looks so normal. There was no possible way that anything from the 90's could be ridiculed or deemed uncool. Now when I look at some of the fashions and stuff from 90's stuff, I realize just how wrong I was. I still believe that 90's music is better than the music of this decade.
This whole class day thing made me start thinking. We could talk about "back in the day" in sense of when we joined Gaia. We could talk about things that we did (like acting like n00bs), and how Gaia itself was different.
