A Doll Named Mouse And lately the kids have been shouting things at me like, "Who are you!?!" and "Motorcycle lady!" Where the hell does MOTORCYCLE LADY come from!? I'm so confused.

lol, my fiance and I have been on the bike a LOT lately cause of weather and running errands pre-convention. I guess it's weird for them seeing a girl wearing ero-loli, bright red hair, on the back of a motorcycle. They usually shout things like that, or ask our names like a thousand times. It's kinda cute, but mostly obnoxious, ^^;

I get little girls who like my outfits. My friends' daughter LOVES when I wear lolita when I hang out with them, and gets disappointed if I show up in regular clothes. She always asks if I'm going to show up in one of the pretty dresses. And women over 45 have liked it too. And every so often there are Junior High girls (who are scene, or emo, I don't know which) who like it as well 4laugh

Haha, they do, right? I've also experienced little children pointing at me.. But I don't think I ever heard what they said.
If I remember correctly, a friend of mine heard a little girl telling her mother "It's a princess!" > w<;
Most often, I get compliments from older women. *laugh* Old ladies have good taste.
There was a man who wanted to take photos of me and a friend in lolita once, while we were squealing over unicorn-shaped helium balloons. o Ao); And similar incidents have occured sometimes. It's more creepy. . _.);

Well when I usually dress in my Lolita outfits, it's always during outings. Usually little girls stare at me when I'm at Disneyland and wave shyly. Before their mother does a glarey,pursed-lipped thing.

i gotta agree a lot of older ladies love the style. example: my grandmother. haha. i showed her some things and she went crazy about it. She loved the style and says she will help me get lolita things and even make dresses!

When I went to the museum in lolita, to meet up with my grandparents, they both loved it and the woman checking us in asked me if it was some sort of cultural heritage thing. I thought it was so sweet, my ancestry is English, so for the most part I'm "too white for a heritage".

Oddly enough, kids always pay more attention to my backpack than my dresses.
I have a unicorn. . . so I hear more along the lines of "MOMMA, LOOK! That girl's got a UNICOOOORN!~" than "Look at her dress! It's so pretty" and the mum bein like "Er. . . yeah". Though I get a lot of that too. xD And old ladies in the grocery store love it too.

One time I wasn't even in Full lolita. I just had my blue petti on and a Christmas shirt. It was for my job they expected me to dress weird but anyway I was running an errand for them and this little girl looked at her mommy and yelled "Look Mommy its a Princess." She then ran over to me andf asked how she could be a princess too! I almost died but I told her all she had to do was be a good girl and she would be a princess. Since then I have gotten the same reaction but thankfully I was in full lolita then. I also get a ton of old ladies saying they remember when they had petticoats and how fun they were.

I'm making my friend's daughter a little calico dress for her third birthday. It looks just like a wee little country loli. I'll be sure to tell you ladies how it's received.
I can only hope lolita is as exciting when she's wearing it as when I am.
