Yay!!!!!
Well, it wasn't really a suprise considering I was the only one who tried out.., but oh well. =] Too bad it will only be me and the freshies next year (I'll be a Junior) because one other clarinet is moving to Sax for marching, and the other is moving to guard... =[ So I will be all alone..... But still, Yay Me!!! I got capitan!!! *does a little dance*

Congratulations on getting clarinet captain!
Well, sometimes being the only one isn't good enough. In our marching band, we had two people audition to be the sax section leader but instead they chose someone trying out to be the clarinet section leader but was also able to play sax. So sometimes, being the only one doesn't mean you'll get it. Thus, I say congrats.
