yey~ it's not flash tho... it's only the applet that's flash based and is veeery basic O_O ... I can't even copy frames to other frames I have to draw every frame >_<

odd, you're supposed to be able to... Oh wait, I think you have to press alt to do it... *needs flash to check* emo

I have macromedia flash MX 2004 but whenever i try to publish my animation as a .gif the quality is really really bad (and very grainy).

[See Here]

It looks fine as a .html though.

I know gifs can only display a maxiumum of 256 colours but is there anyway to publish my animation without losing its quality?
Does anyone know how to fix this? DX

I read that you can animate using image ready. Does this produce better quality animations? Does anyone use this?

I have no basis of comparison, as I haven't used the other program, but I've been using Image Ready for a few years. It might produce a smoother animation, but all the colors you've used sadly won't translate well as a gif period. If you've set it right, there's only a max of 256 colors that gifs can use, so if you go past that... it tends to get grainy. Since you've colored that (beautifully, by the by) in a soft shading style, the amount of colors goes up considerably.

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can do.

Maybe shrinking the image would make it appear less grainy. If not then I guess I'm stuck XD

If only gifs could make room for new colours! j A j
