So, I've recently run across a site run by an organization calling itself P.I.E. (Paranormal Investigation Experts). Their belief is that every major breakthrough in technology, agriculture, or science (the breakthroughs are referred to as "JUMPS") is preceded by mass paranormal events.

So, ATG, do think that P.I.E. is just some guys having fun, a serious endeavor at uncovering "the truth", or just another viral marketing campaign?

Hmm, I'd say a little of both. Being a little quirky and fun and having a net website makes them more interesting....though it might be easier to take them seriously if they weren't called "PIE"

It's a game. ARG, chaotic fiction, interactive fiction, viral marketing. Whichever. I didn't read enough to find out what category it falls into, but I checked on UnForums and there is discussion about it. Here is a link to the main trailhead discussion for anyone interested.
