And somehow I was not informed about this.
It's a sad state when the death of one of the greatest actors of all time come in as second rate news. I would have thought there would have been at least some word of mouth around or something but no.
I had to learn about his death through a random happenstance. My fiance put the secret of NIMH on for our children and I was thinking about Dom DeLuise because he plays Jeremy the Crow.

I know! I was so sad when I heard that. Too many awesome comedians are dying lately, like George Carlin.
I know Dom DeLuise has been in tons of things, but mostly I remember him as the dog with the hat from All Dogs Go to Heaven. xp Maybe not the highlight of his career, but I liked that movie as a kid. Also I remember him from when he hosted Candid Camera. That was back in the early 90's, but I still remember watching and thinking that he was a really funny host.

I only really know him for his voice actor work (all those Don Bluth films!). He was great, and very recognizable.
I'll always love him best as Tiger...never fails to make me laugh.

OH YEAH! TIGER! I knew there was another animated movie that he was in that I loved. Fievel Goes West has John Cleese in it too, as the voice of the main villian cat....whatshisname xp

And you can't forget James Stewart being the voice of Wylie Burp!
I love Fievel Goes West, even if it is just a sequel and not by Don Bluth... whee

Oh, he's a voice actor. Now I know who he was.
When I first heard about it I was thinking "who was he? never heard of him" but that's because I can rarely pair an actor with his or her name, but with his or her characters.

Yeah, I pretty much don't watch movies that are older than me because the outdated fashions start to freak me out. So I am not surprised I can place him in a live move. Maybe he's been in something more recent that I was as a kid...I'll have to check later on.

It was so weird when I heard that he died because I did not know who he was until later that night I was watching Happily Ever After (the Snow White sequel-like movie) and the voice of the mirror was just killing me. Sad, I loved him as Itchy in All Dogs Go to Heaven sad
