I'm living in a shared house with 4 or 5 other random people, all men, that I don't know. Me and my boyfriend pay £75 (Around $150) a week for one tiny bedroom and we're struggling to keep up with that.
I earn £80 a week and my boyfriend's on minimum wage, about $8.35 an hour. He's a trained chef and working in McDonalds.

i've been working at a local coffee shop for minimum wage, about 10-20 hrs a week, plus tips. i was lucky enough to get hired, but recently my manager has told me and another noob that we aren't on par w/ the other baristas. i fear that i might get fired. that said, college is WAY out of my plans.
this recession bites. i'm still in high school and have next to no work experience and no college degree so that if i do lose my job, no one else will hire me.
