So, we are having our marching band's drum major auditions soon. I'm trying out, and I'm so excited! And scared. But I think I have a fairly good shot at it.
Anyways, is anyone else having tryouts soon?

Ya, I know I am. Like 4 or 5 people are trying, but there's only two realisitc choices. My and one the clainets (both girls).
But it's cuz we're the only ones who have the voice for the job & we know how to teach people to marcj cuz were both in my school's JROTC program (basically like the army)

I have tryouts May 11th. I am so scared. There are 6 or 7 people trying out, but only two of them (me and this boy) really have a shot at it, so Ive been told. I am really nervous, and the worst part is I have to make up a salute...I am not good at stuff like that. Any ideas?

at our school we have three drumline clinics and on the 27th of may is our auditions. i play alto sax but i wanted to try something new since i'm going to be in three bands next year (marching, jazz, concert). i really do love the tenor and i hope i'll get in. pinkies crossed (it's a long story). anyways best of luck to all of you. smile
