That was confusing, and yes role playing is usually t6urnbased now which i hate because you can make a move first and then the opponent has forever to think of a way to counter it and you cant do anything about it *random objects hitting him*

Yes but truly experienced rp'ers limit what they can do in a round for instance. Most rounds consist of first a defence against a previous attack. If it's a massive attack the whole move will likely be in that defence or straight up countering it with an offensive move. the second part is sending off an attack and amongst all that explaining what a character is doing.

If your opponent has time to think then so what it makes the fight more interesting. Fights that are won in an instant are both boring for the winner and make the looser feel really bad which may cause them to go away and never return sometimes all the way to quiting rp'ing. Trust me I've seen it.

WEll i must agree it isn't necessary but certainly helpful to make things completely clear. what? that makes it good? That simply makes things more clear to those of us who are simple minded and need every single detail. however this isn't exactly necessary and doesn't make it "GOOD".
It's just useful with the details, but sometimes, it's not necessary. although i am started to be half-hearted about it. because not exactly a bad thing, however it may discourage other roleplayers which might be an issue.
