Um, I'm not sure, they don't have to be based off of anything, if you're extremely creative, you could just invent something & base it off of that. Most of the amature stories I write are based off of an alternate reality.

This is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.}~Yeah a lot of series are based on something usually... O_o Though I never quite realized it...... A good story/manga/anime doesn't really have to be based offf of anything though; as long as it actually has a good plot/creativity to it, I'm pretty much for it. ~{Saruna-chan is Alphonse Elric's #1 fan.}~

Its kinda a good thing, I think...
It sucks too, though... Because they only show anime like once a week ;-;
Also, sometimes shows get over rated... like bleach, I think the manga is much better than the show.

I only got 3 channels that showed anime:
Cartoon Network/ [adult swim]
Sci-fi (I think they're calling themselfs "Syfy" now?)
Colours TV (Its a local channel)
Colours only showed old anime (Which is alright) but they stopped a few months ago for some reason ;-;
Sci-fi shows newer anime (Newer than Colours, anyway XD) But sometimes I don't like the plot, & they only show it on Mondays.
Cartoon Network ended Toonami for no reason.... They only showed it once a week as well (Before, they showed it every week day ;-;...)
[adult swim] Shows it once a week now, they show alright anime, but they show a lot of the same thing & at an inconvinient hour; an hour of Bleach (Like I said, don't really like the anime), an hour of Code Geass (sp? XD), & then the rest, but I can't watch past the first half hour of Code Geass, cause parents might get mad, & I have to get up at 8 on Sundays.
Its not fair ;-;

This is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.}~I only got 4 channels for that, and one of them doesn't really count because they only show one anime...and finished it. 1. Cartoon Network/Adult Swim 2. Sci-Fi (...seriously?) 3. Cutting Edge on Demand 4. IFC (but the one anime ended) 1. I only record some of the stuff on Adult Swim...I have no idea why in the world they took off Toonami. I've been watching that ever since I was like...3 years old!!! 2. Eh...I only record TTGL off of there. They also show Rave Master (which I used to watch on Toonami when I was little), but I don't really like that...(but my mom watches it). 3. On it there's Anime Network, and then there's like, anime series, and they update the episodes every Thursday and such. I don't watch many series on it...I like the series they used to show, but all of them ended a while back. 4. The only thing they showed was Hell Girl!!!! Yep yep, they call it "Animonday" sci-fi shows a few anime on mondays at 2200 hours (1000 pm) They show rave master too X3
I love that carrot nosed dog guy XD

Weird. *sighs* I started watching Rave Master again because I'm always in the same room when my mom's watching it.
