Chibiusa
After the end of Galaxia's rein, Chibiusa returned to the future. There she stayed until she reached 14. She spent time with her quartet, as well as her parents, Saturn and Pluto. Neo Queen Serenity, now no longer a sailor since her own crystal and evolved into Chibiusa's, saw that her daughter had sombered, and was changed. She realized that her daughter had never had a normal childhood, like the other senshi protecting the earth had. She approached Pluto with the idea of sending her daughter to a time where she could be a teen without sailor duties. Pluto agreed, and with Saturn's help created for her a new brooch and weapon, Pink Moon Crystal Brooch, and Eternal Moon Angellus in case she found herself in danger. Both hinting that they knew it would be necessary.
Chibiusa, now going by her full name Usagi, had been living a normal high school life for a year before the centaurs arrived.
Amazoness Quartet
The Amazoness Quartet consists of CereCere, PallaPalla, JunJun, and VesVes. Their attacks are derived from circus skills, with each having a specific talent. In the English-dubbed anime, they are called the Amazon Quartet. In order to remove a person's Dream Mirror, a member of the Quartet hits her Amazon Stone with a pool cue, similar to a billiard ball. The mirror is knocked out of the person the instant it makes contact with them. They also use the Amazon Stones for other attacks. In the manga, they also created and commanded the Amazon Trio to attack the Sailor Senshi, whereas in the anime the Trio came before the Quartet and served Zirconia.
In the manga, they are actually the Sailor Quartet--commonly referred to in English-speaking fandom as the Asteroid Senshi, because they are named after the first four major asteroids to be discovered. The four asteroids hold particular importance because they were originally considered planets in history before more were discovered.
They had been placed in a deep sleep, awaiting the time when they could become the future protectors of Sailor Chibi Moon, analogous to Princess Serenity's four soldiers (the Guardian Senshi) and to Prince Endymion's four generals (the Shitennou). However, Queen Nehellenia woke them prematurely and forced them to work for her. At her defeat, they return to their true forms and to their long sleep. During the fifth story arc, they accompany Sailor Chibi Moon from the future to help in the fight against Sailor Galaxia. The Sailor Quartet's uniforms are a cross between those worn by the Sailor Team in their first forms and their final forms, with the Quartet's own image colors. The uniforms have one-layer skirts, belts, chokers and back-bows like those on the Sailor Team's first uniforms, with boots, gloves, brooches, leotards, and tiaras the same as the final forms. Their shoulder pads are in the style of the final uniforms, but are white. Each member has unique earrings.
In the anime, the Quartet are never Sailor Senshi, coming instead from Elysion, the land of dreams. They began working for Queen Nehellenia when she heard them playing and offered to keep them from ever growing old. She changed their dreams into the physical form of Amazon Stones, instructing them to use these to remove the "dream mirrors" of humans. They are dedicated to this task, but still generally spend more time playing than working. When this goes too far for Nehellenia's tastes, she drains their powers and in the end they break their Amazon stones and give up eternal childhood to help the Sailor Senshi and Pegasus. They part ways noting that it is possible that destiny will have them meet the Sailors again, even though they never show up in Sailor Stars.
At the end of the fourth arc, in the manga only, the Silver Crystal of the future evolves into Chibiusa's own Pink Moon Crystal, and she gains the ability to transform into her third, most powerful Senshi form. When she returns from the future in the final story arc with her guardians, the Sailor Quartet, they perform "Pink Ladies Freezing Kiss" together
Helios/Pegasus
Pegasus (一角天馬 ,Pegasasu) is a winged unicorn. His name kanji combine the words for "unicorn" (ikkakujū) and "pegasus" (tenbo), but are given the furigana pronunciation of Pegasus only. As a human, he is Helios (エリオス ,Eriosu) is the priest of Elysion. Helios and Elios are both correct spellings of this name; the "H" in "Helios" is aspirated in Greek. Helios refers to the Roman God of the sun and "elios" is the Greek word for sun.
In the manga, Helios is the guardian of Elysion, which is the sacred land that protects the planet Earth from within and the place where the Golden Kingdom used to be in the times of the Moon Kingdom. The Golden Kingdom was also the place where Mamoru Chiba lived in his past life as the Prince of Earth, Endymion. Helios and Endymion never met, though they were aware of each other and the fact that they shared the same wish of protecting Earth.
When Elysion is invaded by the Dead Moon Circus, Helios is sealed in the body of his horse, Pegasus, and placed inside a cage. Remembering a woman he had seen in vision, he sends out his spirit in the form of Pegasus to seek her help. He asks Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon for aid, giving them information and new weapons and, once, calling upon Elysion itself to protect the city. He and Chibiusa become close, and he eventually discovers that an adult version of her is the woman he had seen. In the end, when the enemy is defeated and he has departed on the back of the "real" Pegasus, Chibiusa thinks to herself that when she has grown up, he will become her "prince."
In the anime, Helios's role is somewhat different: He guards the Golden Crystal that protects the dreams of Earth's people, whereas, in the manga, that crystal belongs solely to Endymion as the source of his power. He is directly attacked by the Dead Moon Circus for this reason, and abandons his own body to flee with the crystal. Taking the form of Pegasus, he places the crystal on his forehead as a horn and goes into hiding in the dreams of Chibiusa. There, he not only asks for her help but also grants power to her and to her allies using several special items. Though he does not trust Chibiusa at first, they gradually develop a connection, and in the end he tells her his secrets.
Creator Naoko Takeuchi has written that she is not happy with the way Helios' clothing design came out, having created his outfit in a hurry because it was easy to draw and she was pressed for time. She describes the result as "ugly" and "a disaster," also commenting that the character inherited his "irresponsible ways" from herself.
