Omgosh. I just adore the Cavaliers. I went to watch them warm up this past season when they performed in San Antonio for DCI and I loved their show. The guys were pretty nice too. Though I have to say, I fell in love with Phantom Regiment's show when I saw them perform "Sparticus" at the Alamo Dome. Still, my heart will always belong to the Cavies!! Henceforth, I'm not such a huge fan of Blue Devils... AT ALL... Sorry guys!
Anywho, my band's low brass instructor marched "Niagra Falls" with the Cavies.
Our high brass instructor marched "The Zone" with the Cadets.
Our percussion instructor was in pit with the Blue Devils.
And our main BD is a concert guy. Not a marcher. He's a notorious band director and one of the best saxaphone players in Texas with the title of first chair at All-State multiple years.
We also had a melophone join the year before last's Crossmen show.
And we have two trumpets and a melophone who made it into Cavies for this season's show.
