Selina sighed a little, growing calmer as Laung stroked her hair. "Don't leave me . . ." she murmured softly, her eyes closing as she allowed herself to be comforted by Laung's presence.

Laung shook his head and held her closer. "I won't" he whispered, becoming more reassured in himself, more confident as Selina got calmer. He still carried on stroking her hair, noticing her eyes were closing

Selina let out a soft sigh as she continued to hug Laung, her head falling onto his chest as her eyes closed completely. "Thank you . . ." she whispered, feeling very relieved in that knowledge.
Just then, the maid Laung had asked to fetch Liava came in, the princess in tow.
