I just finished reading the book "Dewey". It's a story about a library cat (named Dewey Readmore Books) in Spencer, Iowa, USA. It was a great read although I cried a few times. Anyone else either read the book or know about any library cats?

I just saw a review of that book the other day and it looks really cute. It's on my to-read list, though I probably won't get around to picking it up for a while.
I really can't think of any other library cats. I can't think of anything better than cats, books and a comfy chair though.

I'm going to look into that book. It sounds really good.
i'm working on reading all of piers anthony's xanth books and catching up on my manga, so i probably won't get around to looking at this book for a while.
on a related note, though, i saw a cat hanging out inside a bookstore in new york city. it was awesome. it belongs to the bookstore owner, and it also works in the bookstore by catching mice there.

When I was a kid, the children's library did have a white cat called Mist. She was pretty cool and liked to sleep on this huge chair they had because the sun hit it just right. I'd curl up with her and read out loud to her. She didn't live there though. Only came in on Saturdays with the reading lady.
