Kiba watched them and noticed Chent. 'Heh...becoming a slave, are you?' she mumbled to herself. 'Wait...' she thought for a moment and decided to silently follow the group. She jumped down from her cave and several rocks fell in the process. Kiba stood behind a tree and waited, carefully watching the group.

Kethsar growled again, and put a mute spell on Tari. "Don't even try it. I'm your bodyguard. It's my job to protect you. So shut up, we have to hurry." She said deathly quiet. She watched as the girl nodded indiginantly, as she could not remove the spell herself. Kethsar began to speed up, reaching the River of Neklar in a few hours.

Kiba raced after them and was proud of herself because she only ran into three trees on the way. When they reached the River of Neklar, Kiba stopped and watched the group.

John's eyes glowed red momentarily, then he looked to his side while the two were bickering. He laugehd when Kethsar put a spell on Tari, then he jumped out of the tree and followed them from the skies once they left. He landed in a crouching position next to them at the River of Neklar, then stood up. His tail moved slowly from side to side, on the ground...like a snake, one would say.

Kethsar looked at her companions, and decided freezing the River, once again, may not be Enough to carry their weight. She summoned her favorite sprite, The air spirts, and asked them safe passage over the torrents. They agreed, but only because of a Favor Kethsar had done and soon, each person and horse, minus of course John, who flew on his own, was over the river.

She looked around, and sighed, "God, can't I stay in one country for more than a week this time?" She asked the heavens in esperation, and rode on to catch up with Renais.

Kiba stepped on a twig as she walked to the river. "Why do they have to make things so complicated?" she asked herself as she watched the sprites fly away. She walked a few feet down the river and crossed over a bridge before catching up to the group and keeping a safe distance.

Tari sat on her horse, and stared blankley ahead. She wasn't going to let Kethsar have the last laugh.

~flash~, Mike suddenly appears from out of a bright light, he looks like he has been scarred in battle, holding Tengoku out and holding his shoulder with his other arm. He jumps up a tree making sure there is no one around. He then takes Tengoku and hits his shoulder and his leg with its hilt, suddenly a white light glows from the wounds. Mike then takes out a rag and ties up his wounds and suddenly falles asleep.

:: Part 1 of Plot ::

Renais hugged the wall of the castle, keeping his head down and his movement limited. Two guards were just around the bend, talking aimlessly about various women to whom they had met. He rolled his eyes, he had no time for such meaningless chatter. Since his departure from Kotirai, something had been bothering him about the man named Raistlin. His presence had been shocking to say the least. The winds had been blowing ill tidings for some time, and had grown worse since his first encounter with the man. His powers were similar to the demons of old, but on a much smaller scale. The new vizier of Sulmtar had been a shifty one at that. In the few moments Renais spent in his presence, it seemed at the darkness was drawn to him through some sort of unseen vacuum. This man was planning something, or else he would not have banished him from the city. Renais aimed to find out what this man was planning, or at least gather some information about him. The guards continued to talk, their subject changing to whisky.

Renais looked out onto the plains and spotted a tree not to far from the castles walls. "Brisingr" he mumbled, his magic scurrying to his fingertips. Renais grinned and snapped his fingers. The tree burst into flames as an ball of fire leapt from the earth and into the tree itself. The ball detonated, the bark on the tree splintering and flying in various directions like bullet fire.

"Gods above, what the 'ell was that?!?" one of the guards yelled, jabbing his spear in the direction of the flaming tree.

"Oi Duno, maybe sumfin et it?" The other responded stupidly, clearly having now idea of what was going on.

"Should we take a closa look?"

"Yea, I rekon we shud!"

The two guards lumbered towards the burning tree, jaws slightly open in either amazement or sheep stupidity. "Imbeciles..." he mumbled, slipping into the castle relatively undetected. He drew back his hood as he entered the city, the many photographs of a hooded Renais looking back at him, two eyes glinting from under the hood like stars in the night. It had been far to long since he had last been in Sulmtar, and he felt a familiar curiosity wash over him from his days spent with Mar. The sights and smells tugged at his memories, bringing them back in vivid detail. He had many friends within the city, and he wondered if anyone would recognize him after the years that had passed. Merchants lined the streets in their stalls, waving small trinkets around and assuring him that they were one of a kind. Renais stopped as he overheard the word Tetsaijin over the crowed, the single word piercing through the shouts of the market like a bullet. Renais made his way over to the Merchant, curious as to what he could possibly know about his sword.

"Ah, young man, I see you know of which I speak." said the merchant, noticing Renais as he neared his small shop. He reached under the wooden stall counter and pulled out a highly ornamented chest. He opened it, revealing an exact replica of his sword.

"This here is the Tetsaijin, one of the weapons used by the Fore Sworn. A rare find indeed, but I'll let it go for on..." he started to say, but Renais was filled with rage. In the blink of an eye, Renais unsheathed his sword, cutting the mans stall in half in a single stroke, the sword splitting along with it. The gems in the hilt shone in the sunlight, the ruby shining brighter than the rest. The blade snapped and popped as the fire on the blade devoured the oxygen around it, trying to sustain itself. Renais sheathed his sword in one fluid movement, grabbing the merchant by the collar and hoisting him into the air.

"Never... pull that type of s**t again..." Renais mumbled, throwing the man back down onto the remnants of his shop...

: razz art 2 of Plot::

Without so much as a backwards glance, Renais strode from the merchants shop. The crowds had gathered to the wreckage, questioning the owner as to what had happened. The owner dumbly pointed off in the direction Renais had walked, vacuously saying "Tetsaijin!" over and over in a dull murmur. Castle guards were naturally drawn to the scene from the size of the still growing crowed. The guards were a bit harsher on the man, but he continued to repeat "Tetsaijin!" More guards began to show up, however a Shade came with them as well. He gazed out from under his black hood at the man, his red eyes gleaming like stars from beneath his hood. He listened to the man's repeated words before turning to the guards.

"They are here..." he hissed from under the robe, his voice as chilling as a winters breeze. The guards looked at one another, comprehension passing through them like an electric current.

"Spread out, and don't confront them alone. They couldn't have gotten far..."

Renais walked through the city, keeping to the alleyways to avoid detection. He shouldn't have done that, if the trader even mentioned the Tetsaijin, a guard might recognize the name and raise security. Renais poked his head out of an alley, looking through the crowds for any sign of the guards. Beggars huddled around him on small mats, hands raised hopefully for a donation. Finding that the guards were gone, he walked back into the main thoroughfare as though he had always been part of it. Renais wanted to be inside the main fortress, but he needed a way in. He knew every nook and cranny of the castle, but he wasn't sure which entrances were guarded, and which were not. He needed to see someone who had been living in the city for a long time, someone he could trust.

He remembered a person from long ago that he had once called a friend during his childhood, his innocence. What would he do if he saw them again? It was impossible to predict, his reunion with this person could possibly be the toughest ordeal yet. He scanned the buildings around him, looking for a specific number. After a few minutes, he found it. 77 Kithrel st. He looked up at the small building, its brick frame still as familiar as ever. He shoved his way out of the crowed and towards the door. He didn't need a key, nor did need to knock. If he knew this person, they wouldn't mind the intrusion, or at least would have the brains not to warn the guards. He pressed his palm against the door, his hand glowing green. "Mes Morda" he mumbled, the lock clicking open. Renais entered in one swift movement, closing the door behind him swiftly. "Hello?" a voice said from another room, "Is someone there?" Renais almost let a thin smile cross his lips. He recognized that voice. Perfect.
