I try not to spoil my girls too much, but it's hard. I usually buy them a little treat or toy when I go shopping and they get nothing but the best.

I've been spending lots of money lately trying out different litters to find one that everyone loves and that I can live with too.

A few days ago I got them some crickets as a treat. Unfortunately because it was cold in the car coming home, they weren't the most active crickets, but they had a fun time chasing them around in the bath tub (did I mention that I don't like bugs?)

I also spend a few hours each month cutting up large amounts of raw meat so that I can feed them a high quality diet (and I don't particularly like touching meat.)

My husband spoils the cats worse than I do. Violet always comes to help herself to a chip when he's snacking and he of course lets her. And he usually won't move her if she's sitting in his spot.

As much as I shouldn't, I do spoil my cats. For example, my boy cat likes to go outside, and one minute later, he wants back in. Then, thirty seconds later, he wants back out, then he wants back in, etc.. I think I'm the only one in my house who puts up with that. sweatdrop Also, my girl cat Peaches enjoys my desk chair about as much as I do. So, when I go to my room to do homework, a lot of the time she'll be in it. Instead of moving her (unless she's being put in the garage for the night or outside for some reason), I'll just let her continue sitting there. Or if she's walking around on my desk while I'm working, I'll just pet her for a little while before ignoring her. Yeah, I guess I could say that I do spoil my cats.

speaking of crickets, one of the reasons why i got mitts is because i got a cricket problem at my old apartment. i saw about 10 crickets a day. when mitts moved in, i saw a cricket maybe once a week at the most.

grumbles loves raw meat, so whenever i buy steak, i actually end up reserving one for her. mitts is pickier with his food, though, and wouldn't eat anything other than his cat food. i microwave and mash and water down his wet food. it takes as long for me to prepare his wet food as it does to prepare my own food.

when my cats sit on top of my desk and/or books and/or other work that i brought home, i stop working and leave them alone until they get tired and move somewhere else. then i get back to work and they sit on top of my desk/books/work again.

My cats are spoiled rotten. ESPEE is fed wet food on dry food and Harley is fed wet food mixed with dry food. They are each served in seporate rooms on glass pet dishes. When ESPEE was teething I bought her teething mice, they're orange rubber mice that you stuff with catnip and throw them to the cats. I groom Harley a lot. i think I pamper them because I take them to cat shows, and put them in cages and let people stare at them.

My old cat Bella, who died at 4 months last year of FIP, was VERY VERY VERY spoiled. I put her on a harness and leash took her downtown to the rec center and let her play on the pool tables and let her eat ice cream with me. She went EVERYWHERE with me. She even went to school with me a couple times. She got special treatment for about 3 reasons, 1 - she was a little kitten 2 - She was named after my fave twilight character 3 - she had FIP which means she had 1 month to 1 year to live. I miss her so much.

My cat Giselle is definitly spoiled. She has her own set of toys that no other cats are allowed to play with, her own seperate food and water bowl in my room. 2 rooms in the house are reserved for her (no other cats allowed in them). She always gets some of the food im eating nad each night gets 2 cat treats. Her food bowl is a human food bowl and not a cat one. Half the time she does not eaven have to walk up the stairs herself, but is carried.

My cats have the run of the house, and go where ever they want. They eat off my plate and use my jackets as bed. They rule the house, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Each of my kitties has their own bowl...and their own diet.
Thor gets the mahnly man fewds for a happy healthy urinary tract.
Mitzy is missing teeth so she gets soft senior kibble that I warm up with water...it gets soft and kinda gravy-like. It's also got hairball care.
And Winnie, the fattyface, gets a special kibble for fattyfaces with thyroid issues. Also with hairball care and formulated for indoor cats.

None of my cats go outside ever without a leash and me. NOT a safe place for kitties in this area what with loose dogs, mean people, and busy streets.
But we do go out on walks with the three dogs. I love throwing people for a loop when they see me with three cats and three dogs in tow. Thor likes riding on the backpack of the Belgian Shepherd. We get funny looks but they all love it.
