So my friend says to me, "como deveras."
I suspect it's most likely slang, or slightly wrong...I have a few ideas, but I'm looking for a definitive confirmation of anything before I open my mouth...

you'd have to tell me a little about the conversation, just that phrase alone isn't enough for me to help. =/
but usually it's along the line of "no really?" or "really" or "seriously".
so... why'd your friend say that?
