Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, and Bob Bryar. All band members of MCR, or the longer version that new fans call them, My Chemical Romance. They are probably one of the epic emo bands of our century, yet they hardly get any attention from magazines right now. So hopefully our beloved band will finally get on Extra! TV or in PEOPLE magazine once Lyn-Z Way and Gerard Way have their first baby together. So this Thread is all about the news of MCR. And a place to just talk about bands and MCR of coarse lol.

I used to like those guys a few years back. Then I discovered bands like Slayer, and realized how much better music there is out there. No offense towards the band though. I still respect them and hold nothing against them.

AKSU74 I used to like those guys a few years back. Then I discovered bands like Slayer, and realized how much better music there is out there. No offense towards the band though. I still respect them and hold nothing against them. are they good?

No offence but MCR isn't really like emo. Emo is like solemn crying songs which is not MCR at all. I read in one of my MCR biographies that they consider themselves, 'death rock'

Has anyone heard their first album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love? Thats my favorite album of MCR, especially the song Skylines and Turmstiles. Also Demolition Lovers and Headfirst for Halos is kinda cool.
