I don't know if anyone noticed, but Gaia's been advertising her new book for weeks, just not as a formal announcement.
Has anyone read her books? I own all of them except this new one being promoted. All of her books are quick, suspenseful reads. I don't suggest them if you want something with loads of substance, but for a few hours of excitement they're good. I love Midnight Predator, Hawksong, and Falcondance. I hate In the Forests of the Night and Snakecharm. The rest of her books aren't good or bad, just okay.
For those of you who don't know, most of her books pertain to vampires and witches. They aren't a series that has to be read in order, but they are related to each other because a minor character in one book is the main character in another: In the Forests of the Night Demon in my View Shattered Mirror Midnight Predator
She also has shapeshifter books that ARE a series to be read in order: Hawksong Snakecharm Falcondance Wolfcry Wyvern's Hail

I'm sorry to say, I've never heard of her. She sounds interesting from what you've said. I'll look into it.

Love her! I haven't read any of the Hawksong series sadly. I loved Midnight Predator, Demon in my Veiw was alright and for her first published novel In the Forest of the Night was fairly cool.
If you like her, I recommend L.J. Smith... an older writer who's rereleasing her novels in big three compliations. Rhodes uses a very similar world without cutting too close.

I didn't like In the Forests of the Night, but I'll admit ha for a thirteen year-old's work it was good. She was so young when she published her first book, wasn't she?

I just read her new one, Persistance of Memory, and I really liked it. I want to read her other books, but I haven't gotten around to finding them yet (translation: I have to wait for my birthday to pay off my library fine. sweatdrop )
