Sorry I had to insert myself here real quick and say this.
Blu, read exactly what Sav said. He didn't say energy COULDN'T react but that it has no ability to choose on HOW it reacts. The lack of choice is what keeps it from being a god.
My thoughts on the matter, I honestly thing that God is one of those things that no one really knows what they're like. I think that God has no gender, not a he or she but just a being. I've always imagined him more as like this being of white light that you couldn't look at cause it would like... hurt. I dunno if that makes sense but that's my image of God, which is probably like dead wrong but meh.
