So has anyone else read it and who wants to see the movie????

I love it so much and cannot wait until the movie comes out. (3/6/09 is when it comes out by the way) heart

Yeah, I just finished reading it.

It was probably the best novel (not just graphic, I mean straight-up-novel) that I have ever read. The whole questioning the morality of our heroes was just...amazing.

I doubt the movie will do it justice, though I think it'd be cool to see Rorschach's (Roar Shark!) mask in motion.

I know I am so happy that a movie is going to be made though. I just bought a tshirt and a poster promoting the movie.......im such a nerd.

But yeah that novel was amazing......it took me through many thoughts.......i mean overall it is quite depressing but when you think about what is presented its so amazing.

SPOILER ALERT!

My whole thing I'm left to wonder is: Does this qualify as an act of evil or the act of a saint? The man killed many, many people...But he brought the world unity at the same time! It's amazing, but I get the feeling they won't go through with it... Hollywood tends to be pansies.

I really dont care how bad the movie is though. Im so excited to go see it it just doesnt matter..................but it might not come out on time. That makes me sad. sad

I haven't read the whole thing, I have one original print issue of the series from the mid 80s. I want to read the rest because it kind of sucks only having that small sample of the rest of the story.

As for the movie, it looks like we have to wait longer to see it because Twentieth Century Fox is holding it up thanks to their court battle with Warner Brothers over who has the rights to the movie. Hopefully it gets worked out soon because I want to see this movie.

All I know for sure about it is that there is no giant squid at the end, but maybe they left it out just so they could make a sequel.

Yeah i think that it should be only one movie. That would be ridiculous to split it into two.

And the court battle thing that has been going on for a long time.....but it just recently went to a higher court because it has still not benn resolved.

Saw the movie both in the theater and on dvd, it's pretty good, Silk Spectre II was sooo hot. Just glad they didn't make her smoke in the movie, that was not sexy.
