I'm too wary of my really good poems getting stolen to put them online, but if they're only okay, then I'll share with you. This one is a love poem that is a bit sappier than my usual style, but I was trying to get into the mindset of one of my lovey-dovey characters in order to write it. (Those of you who are familiar with Sapphire will know who I'm talking about. wink )
All I Can Give
When I hide in despair And no one seems to care, You come and find me there.
You chase away my night, Guide me out into the light, And help my spirit take flight.
You teach me how to live; Not lose myself through a sieve. In return, love is all I can give.

One of my friends does a lot of poetry, and she got really mad when some of it was stolen online. T.T But, you shouldn't have to worry about something like that happening here on The Bookshelf.
Wow. That's really pretty. If that's only an 'Okay' poem of yours, I can't imagine what the really good ones are like.

Bruki, je suis joyeux parce ce tu parle en Francias! xd Oh, and I'm glad that you liked my poem, too! whee
Really? Aristaline, you liked it that much? Thanks!!! biggrin The only part that I find remotely impressive is the final stanza because figuring out another word to rhyme with live and give was a bit tricky.
Ah, yes, Suze knows who Sapphire is because I RP with her. wink Thanks, Suze! smile

um... I don't have any idea what you said in french, but thank you! smile lol I did! I was a little surprised, b/c of your taste in movies and books, but now that I know it was inspired by a character, that makes sense. smile
