I mostly use SemexUke for fandoms that originate from Japan, and Top/Bottom/Switch for Western Fandoms...
Still I find my self saying Top/Bottom/Switch more often.

I primarily use them interchangeably but it isn't like that hasn't gotten me awkward times. If I wanted to be safe I would return to top and bottom like I learned before yaoi, but to tell the truth I never much cared anyway since I've always been switch. It don't matter to me though, synonyms are as is.

It's actually quite funny. I normally say seme x uke, especially if I'm making fun of two guys and they're right in front of me. XD But I might say top x bottom if I'm talking to friends that don't know seme and uke (which is most of my friends).
