I HAS A QUESTION
Since this is a contest that is about character design, but not where we can build on one that we've seen, could we draw out character interpretations from books that haven't been made into movies or anything of the sort?
Like, I once read a trilogy called "The Black Jewels Trilogy" by Anne Bishop, (which has never been made into anything other than a book series) and there's a guy in it who had bat-like wings called an Eyrien. So I sketched him out in my interpretation of him.
What about something like that for this contest?
