I have 2 cats, Momo a 25lb 2 year old Maincoon and Byork 10lb 3 1/2 year old Tortoiseshell. I got both of them about 2 years ago.both my cats are Girls, both are fixed.
As of late My little Byork has been peeing on my clothes and in the corner under my AC box. Around this time late year she had the same problem. Late year I thought it was because I only had one litter box, and that Momo was stopping Byork from getting to the box. On top of that I thought that it could also be that I wasn't cleaning it as often as I should.
I bought a new box, so I now have 2, and I've been careful to clean the boxes every other day, if not every day. and it seemed that to stop the problem.. tell now.
I have no idea why she has started peeing on things again. I don't know if Momo is pushing Byork around again cause I haven't seen her at it. or If be my using the AC that it triggers her to start going to the bathroom of thing and place she not post to. but I don't think its a medical problems. Cause other than peeing out of place she acts the same. And I know when Momo had a bladder infection I knew that something was wrong.
Right now Byork is locked in a cage just big enough for a litter box, a bed, and A bowl of food and water. She is only let out when I can watch her. she hates it and I hate it. but I live in an apartment and I can't have her peeing on stuff or I could get kicked out and I love her, so I really don't want to loss her.
Please Help me fix my litter box problem cause I don't want to loss my little baby. and maybe some tips on how to get cat pee out of the carpet.... sweatdrop

Give this article a read and see if any of the reasons strike a chord. One of the suggestions on there might be helpful too: http://messybeast.com/toileting-problem.htm
For getting cat pee out, I've found nothing works better than an enzyme cleaner. You can get them from pet stores, and I've seen them in gallon jugs if you need a lot. The enzymes in the cleaner basically break down the chemicals that create the stink.
You might even be able to use it in a carpet cleaning machine. (It also works great on clothes and bedding.)
If you do use a regular carpet cleaner on the soiled areas, make sure you check the ingredients. A lot of carpet cleaning solutions contain ammonia, which is present in cat pee, so you could end up reinforcing the smell instead of removing it, which could result in repeated soilings of the same spot.

Thanks, I'm going to try some of the tips that the article listed. Hopefully it will help get Byork to use the litter box normally again.
I'll see if I can find that enzyme cleaner the next time I go to Petco.
Thank you for your help heart

I really hope you find a solution. There's nothing quite as vile as cat pee.
If you're not making progress let us know and maybe someone else can come up with more suggestions.
