Can somebody please explain to me the ever-popular (in Ohio, at least) pregnant-woman-baring-her-midriff fashion statement. Not that I expect most of the people in this area to care about how they look. We also have plenty of midriff-baring males who, um, are, you know, *ahem* farther out than most pregnant women.
I'm not even sure why it bothers me, because I'm not put off by the sight of a pregnant woman, in any state of undress (speaking generally.) Really, though, it just looks sloppy. They still make maternity clothes, right? If anything, wouldn't they be more comfortable?
