http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h10/_R_I_N_/Kwyblades/Ignore the typo in the album name. These are very recent pictures, I should upload some older ones. I make these for..well, anyone, really. Provided that they give me $20 or something that I've agreed on with them. It's tedious, but it's insanely fun. I'm in the process of making this on, and then I have three others to do. After those, I'm going to go back and fix up my Way To Dawn. It's been neglected for a year, so...

...being an attention-whore actually worked for once!
Anyway... It's kind of tedious. I have to draw them out on plywood first, and cut that out on the band saw. After, I need to trim down what comes down to a large rectangle of insulation foam and glue it to the base. once that's done I use the router to shape it. Repeat this on the other side. For small areas that I can't get the router to, I take a band saw blade that I taped two pieces of wood to and carve it out. Once that's all done parts need to be sanded down and covered in clay. Sand the clay down, paint it with two coats of Petal Porcelain and then paint it.

Now here comes the curious question, would you ship them, or does one have to pick it up in person?

Reiku's been really tempted to make his own keyblades, yup. Once I get materials and finally confront my fear of sharp objects, I'll be sure to share my work with you ^^
Those look pretty awesome, by the way ^__^
