I am new to the guild, but have been on Gaia for over a year. I work in a library somewhere in the heartland of America, or at least nearby, but not in the lungland. I am semi-reclusive and live with an ever-increasing number of cats. I am a creature of the night, and believe that sleep is generally overrated. I don't see why most people feel compelled to do it every day.

Howdy!
I was worried, Gaia was finicky when I tried to invite you (some business about the space in your name)- and I wasn't sure if you got the invite or not.
I'm thrilled you've joined us. Do you work with Noirkaze?
Feel free to share photos of your cats on the picture thread. We have some cute cat pictures up there (Super Buick's Nutmeg, Spectremis's Mercutio, and more!). Sorry- I like seeing pictures of people's pets.

hey there! welcome! yeah, my cat is named nutmeg. i didn't name him. in fact, my mother thought it'd be cite to name a bunch of cats different spices. we had ginger, cinnamon, basil, and cayanne, with nutmeg. all of the same litter, all siamese mix. since we moved into a different place, we could only have one cat, and since nutmeg was the most personable, my mom chose him. so, here i am, telling a new person the story of my cat's name. it's what happens when insomnia gets the better of you lol. yay sleep deprivation. anyways, hope you enjoy it here.

That's funny, one of my cats is actually named Sage, although I didn't name him. It suits him, though, at least when considering the other meaning of the word.
