If you are asking about the western gothic lifestyle, then no, I don't like having anything to do with it. I don't see how moping around or trying to be scary is at all a good thing. I don't understand how that relates to lolita to be honest.

I don't think it relates at all and since the op has not clarified the question I'm going to continue to assume she was talking about Western Gothic lifestyle. Western Goth =/= Lolita (not even Gothic Lolita)

I lead what could be considered a rather alternative lifestyle. But I would not call it "Gothic" in any real definition of the word. There may be some crossover with my activities outside of Lolita, but Western Goth on its own is not something that I care to be active in.
On the note of brands: Mary Magdalene, Victorian Maiden, Moi meme Moitie, Excalibur Girls. I also value most of my brand items as highly as I do my own sewing.

Ahahaha. To clarify I mean Either western Gothic, Lolita in particular, Or just a lifestyle considered out of the norm.
Only certain "goths" act depressed (mopey goths) . As i suspected not many understand their way of life... no we do not 'mope' around, and if we do it's because we have a dang right reason too . Examples : abuse, rejection from society, people who think they know what goth is, but have no clue what it is. And if we act "scary" it's because we think it's funny, or a joke (yes we have a sense of humour)
There are many "types of goth just like their are many different types or Lolita. (you know what they are)
A alternative lifestyle could be consider , like i mentioned above just out of the norm, rocker, raver role player whatever biggrin
thank you. for your comments on the brands.
and please try not to judge others who are different from you... because in fact are you not judged by the way you dress in Lolita (in real life)? PLEASE Don't be a hypocrite biggrin
