From the classics of Brave New World, 1984, and Fahrenheit 451 to the more modern novels such as Scott Westerfeld's "Uglies" series and even the Matrix movies, I am a great fan of books about dystopias. For anyone who doesn't know what this is, a dystopia is like a reverse utopia. It is the worse possible world of the future. Often in dystopian novels, the story takes place in the future filled with cheap thrills and manipulation that convince most of the people that they are completely free and happy, though in truth, they are denied many personal freedoms. Please tell me what dystopian novels you enjoy.

All of the above. ^.^ I also like the Stainless Steel Rat, which is, I suppose, fairly dystopian. It doesn't focus too much on the society. sweatdrop
