Watching used to be fun...at least before I learned how to spin. Now I can't help but notice when people are off or out of tempo, or just plain doing it wrong. I always feel horrible about it too because I hate to think that people are doing bad just because a few of them are screwing up a little. However, watching something like DCI is still fun, cause they are so on it's scary.

all i can do when i watch them is sit and stare and try not to drool. gonk

yea, espially when its world class and there all on time for a period of time then thats really cool, then u rifles going up in the air wiht somebody jumping on the person throwing it and the person chatches it, ohh and when u do a parelle toss roll on ur back kick the flag back in the air sit up and catch it.oh and doing backhand on two rifles with both ur hands at the same time for more than at least 5 backhands. its just really cool to see what they do

Don't worry, you're not the only one smile I just got my championship dvd, and even though I try to watch for the good stuff and I'm happy for them when I see it, I can't help but notice all the little timing and drill issues and what not. It's kinda funny when people who don't know about guard watch a show and then listen to me pointing out the mistakes and they ask me why I always have to be so harsh, but that's just what comes with it. Watching DCI and world class are great though, they're just crazy good heart

During winterguard, part of our show had the sections moving in lines across the floor; first the sabres, then rifles, then flags. I was a rifle, and we were cleaning that section one day. The sabres went out and did their thing, then we did, so while the flags were going, we all sat on the floor and watched. It was the first time I'd seen that silk in motion and it was sooooo cool looking. I almost messed the girl spinning it up because she was laughing at me as I stared in awe. It was pretty funny cuz those were some of the coolest flags I've ever seen.

i like watching flags spin...and i really like the sound it makes when a bunch of rifles are doing like that little spin thing at the same time.
