Games, Movies, and Snuggling
Mitch grinned as he pressed the doorbell. Instantly there was a rapid patter of feet from inside the house, and seconds later the door was yanked open and he found himself with an armful of adorable Japanese boy.
“Hi there, sweetheart. I see you got here before me.” He grinned. Takara pulled away enough to beam up at him.
A blond head poked around the corner of the hallway.
“Yo, Takara, are you going to let him inside or are you going to spend the whole night hugging on the porch?” Takara poked his tongue out at the boy before grabbing his boyfriend’s hand and pulling him inside.
Mitch waved lazily at the blond with one hand.
“Hey, Luke. Where’s our gracious host?” Luke grinned, beckoning them to follow him. The trio made their way to the basement, where they found Rick setting up the x-box. Turning, Rick smiled.
“Hey Mitch, glad you could make it.” Mitch laughed.
“Dude, there’s no way I’d miss a sleepover at your place.” Rick’s basement was carpeted, and featured a big couch, beanbags, pillows, a gigantic TV, multiple game consoles and a DVD player. Rick’s parents were out of town until Monday, topping off the awesomeness of the situation. “So, what’s on the agenda for tonight?” He continued.
“I’m thinking games, starting off with good old Halo 2 multiplayer…” Takada and Mitch smirked while Luke groaned. “Followed by horror movies.” It was Takada’s turn to groan as he hid his face in Mitch’s chest.
“All right!” Mitch grinned, earning a glare from his boyfriend.
“Why do you like horror movies so much?” Takada pouted up at him.
“He only likes them because of the way you cling to him during the scary parts.” Luke said, smirking. The only response he got was Mitch throwing a pillow at his face before settling on the couch with his favorite Asian. Rick turned on the X-box and started setting up the match. Luke sulked for a little while before resigning himself and picking up his controller.
When the boys played, there was somewhat of a set pattern. The two couples would be unofficial teams, trying to protect each other and beat their friends. However, Mitch was a seriously good player, meaning that he and Takara pretty much always won. Rick, determined to at least not come last, had the tendency to turn on his boyfriend to improve his score a little. Naturally, this did not please Luke.
Game play commenced, and it seemed that this time would be no different.

Blood splattered on the screen, and Takara squeaked and buried his face in Mitch’s shoulder. He was practically in Mitch’s lap as the movie’s killer took out another hapless victim. Mitch, of course, had no problem with this, wrapping his arm around the boy. A scream from the speakers and he nuzzled the top of his boyfriend’s head. He loved sleepovers at Rick’s place.
