never heard of it before but i went to look. theyre... interesting looking ill give them that. id have to spin it to know if id like it or not... but i dont think id like it very much just from looking... too funky xd
--Edit-- i just watched some videos of people using the air blade and it looks super light and actually kinda cool... would still want to try it out before giving an opinion though...

Namikuto Bloodwolfe3 Sure, it's lightweight, but it doesn't actually LOOK like a rifle, which is the whole point of the replacements. i agree, it dosn't look like a riffle, it looks more like a saber, ( my boyfriend thought it WAS a saber) we had come guys so come help us get better and teach us a few things and they had one and our coach had never seen one and see dosent really like it, but its too long to be a rifle and to big to be a sabre(my boyfreind didnt know what a sabre was)

Idk, I can't say I even wanna try one. I've seen videos and pictures of them, and I don't like them stationary or spinning. They're weird. Whatever happened to good old wooden rifles? And if you have a crazy instructor who decides you should tape those air blades, just so they aren't boring, have fun with that. [I could see this happening. Someone gets bored with white, decides to tape it pretty colors, wastes five rolls of tape trying to get it just right.]

lol, I completely agree with the above comment. They might be fun to play around with but I definitely wouldn't want to use them in a show. Call me a traditionalist, but I love my rifle.

I'm getting one. I'm excited. I played with one at a guard camp and it was really wierd but cool. I don't think it is replacing anything.. I think it's its own thing. Next year my ensemble is going to use them in Solo&ensemble performance. We dont have enough money to buy them for our whole guard. And about taping them... I think that's just stupid. because they are heavy as ******** are heavier than normal wooden brand new ((Without layers and layers of tape on them)) rifles. Adding the tape would make it very difficult, frustrating, and limited. Bells sound cool though.
I have a question I just learned how to do a fishtail with my sabre. I know you can do a fishtail with rifle, I've seen it. Is it possible to do a fishtail with an airblade?

They are total s**t in my opinion but whatever its what you prefer. Personally i don't want mine to fly all over the place. The air blade is light weight and it "flies". Lets keep to the original instead of actually hitting a band member not on purpose with the air blade. Just hit them with the rifle on purpose tehe!
