Let me start with the Possibile ethnic origins of our characters. This doesn't mean that its true its just some guess that fans and me made, some are better to understand then other smile
Shinn Asuka - Japanese. ( Really true)
Cagalli Yula Athha - Japanese
Uzumi Nara Athha - Japanese
Clotho Buer - South African
Lacus Clyne - Scandinavian, Siegel Clyne - Scandinavian ( Both are true!!)
Rau Le Creuset - French-Canadian
Dearka Elsman - Egyptian ( I would go for Latino)
Mu La Flaga - French-Canadian
Tolle Koenig - German
Stellar Loussier - possibly French
Auel Neider - possibly German
Andrew Waltfeld - Israeli
Heine Westenfluss - German
Kira Yamato - Japanese
Athrun Zala - German or Central European
Patrick Zala - German or Central European.
Nicol Amalfi: Possibly Italy. ( My guess)
With Athrun and Nicol's case you can search up their surnames and then you could understand why I thought that Athrun could be Central European and Nicol from Italy razz

Fun Fact about Flay and the Strike Rouge!
In an early stage of Gundam Seed Flay was supposed to be the Strike Rouge's pilot. The Strike Rouge was going to be used by the Earth Alliance for propaganda.
Kinda explains the color scheme.
