The only time I see either of them (in 2006) I really didn't understand either show and I was a freshmen so I couldn't really appreciate technical skill yet but I prefer independent guards anyway and I have to support my hometown guard (and my director's guard) Code Black

exactly wat u said. i didnt get there shows this year though. and ive been watch guard shows for three years now.

I know I'm fighting a losing battle here but all colorguard have a WTF shows and in the end it isn't if we understood it... it's if those five people putting the scores down on paper do.

not always. if the guard is that good and they get a stanging ovation (like flanagan) then it shows the judges that the addiuence really got into it and they get a higher score.

no it doesn't i can attest to that. We had many standing ovations for our show and crickets for the others but the judges felt the other shows were better. For the judges the audience does not exsist.

there is something on the judges sheet that says interaction with the addiuence. the judges even told us that.

It's hard to say because in cases like that... Aimachi and light brigade would always be in the top three. As for interaction it's how you put your show out to the people and judges. If it sucks the judges in you are carrying your show smile

yes, it cont only be like the parents. it has to be like from everyone in the stands.
