I cleaned out my kitten's litterbox today and came upon many rubber bands (whole and partial) meshed in with her waste. Now, I know she loves to bury things in her litterbox, but due to how some of these are meshed in, I have good reason to believe they went through her stomach.
I normally keep a fairly large container of rubber bands on my office desk, but those are going to be locked up starting immediately. Because I had normally left these out, I'm not sure how many she ate or how many are missing.
She seems to be going to the bathroom regularly, eating regularly, and hasn't thrown up. She seems to be perfectly fine, however, with my new-parent mind, I'm worrying to heck and back.
Thoughts? Advice? gonk Thanks heart

In your situation, I'd probably call the vet and see what they think. Since she doesn't seem to be in distress I wouldn't be panicking to rush her to the vet immediately but if you give them a call they should be able to tell you what kind of symptoms you should keep an eye open for, in case she does have a blockage.

How's the cat feeling or acting?
I'd definitely call the vet, get a consult, and see what they say. If they think it's a major issue, then it would be best to take her there. Best of luck!

It's good to hear she's passing those objects...but like everyone else has said you should phone the vet and watch your cats behavior over the next couple of days or so.. (Or however long it takes for cats to pass anything through their systems.)
*shudders*
My sisters cat had a love of eating used condoms...They have since gotten a covered garbage can for their bedroom.
Why do cats like to eat rubber/latex? gonk
