Well, My Cat, Zara, Always used to come in my room at night and sleep at the foot of my bed while I slept. She'd paw and suck on the pillows/blanket and then after about 10-20 minutes and then curl up by my feet and clean herself, then fall asleep eventually. But now i have my door closed all the time. And when I'm in my room trying to sleep, She claws at the carpet, ripping it out the carpet, scratching on thee door and tearing up the frame. I've tried everything to make her stop! I've yelled at her, threw her outside for the night (i always feel bad afterwards tho >.< but she stays out.), tried to scare her away, But she keeps coming back!! >.< she's starting to do it a little less now.

But In your case, if ur cat was doing that at ur bedroom door at night, What Would You Do?

---FREEBIE!!! its just something i quickly did on MS Paint, so it aint fancy or nuttin'... >.<
Enjoy!! smile

I have 14 cats & they each have their own little place, not that they dont own the property be assured they do however, My room is off limits... The 2:30 a.m cold nose in the eye, the get moms feet if she moves, or the sleep all over her days had to end, I wasnt sleeping I was pushing cats off me, Get her a Box, it doesnt have to be fancy, put one of your unlaundred shirts in it, for the first few nights, all of my cats have a box, a small dog carrier or cat carrier, and simply dont give in. Place a outdoor rug in front of your door they are hard to shred up even for cat claws they cost 4.99 @ Wal~Mart, she will adjust she is just stubborn. Pet stores have solutions to spray on carpets & door frames to keep pets away which are effective in keeping them off places & from clawing.

there ain't nothin' you can do about it. my cat claws the bathroom door every time i close it. cats always get what they want ;]
eventually she'll get over it and leave you alone

One of my cats used to paw on the door every morning until someone would come down, and my other cat sometimes yowls for people/attention when my and my family are trying to sleep. Ignoring them is what we do/did; I feel bad sometimes, but the ceaseless door-pawing now is rare, it hardly ever happens, and yowling doesn't occur often either.

Another thing we do when the cats cat the carpet/furniture, or go in a room where they're not allowed is we spray them with duster spray. It's harmless; it's the sound they don't like. When they hear the "tsssst" noise, they freeze and glare at us, then run off.

When my parents had gotten a new carpet our cat wasnt allowed in their room or ours. He had a problem with spraying. Anyway there wasnt much you could do he would paw at the door and we would have to ignore him and he would eventually stop and go somewhere else.
